  • Our fishing charters come with everything you need to have a great time. We provide all the necessary gear, including bait, as well as bottled water, ice, and sunscreen. Feel free to bring any food or drinks with you on the boat.

  • Our fishing charters launch from three primary locations, but we are happy to pick you up elsewhere if you desire. All of our locations are open year round, but different ramps are more popular during different seasons.

    Wappo Cut Boat Ramp

  • You have 72 hours before your trip to cancel for a full refund. Pending weather, or cancellation by captain’s discretion, clients will be charged full price within 72 hours.

  • Charleston weather is pretty sporadic, but we keep a close eye on the weather. However, a little rain won’t stop us from a fishing adventure. If the weather is deemed unsafe or dangerous, we will reschedule depending on party availability or cancel at no cost to you.

  • No need to worry, we have you covered. All licenses are included under your captain’s USCG license, so you do not need to have your own in order to enjoy a fishing trip with us.

  • Due to USCG regulations, only six anglers are allowed per boat. If you have a larger party, we recommend booking an extra charter. We also offer large group packages. For details, please call us at 843-730-1049.

  • Anglers can keep the fish they catch while following the SCDNR fish size and limits.

  • Our charters are going to be on water, so if you suffer from sea sickness, there is a chance that you may get sea sick. If this is a concern for you, but you still want to fish, we recommend our inshore charters as these are not as exposed to the high waves of our nearshore fishing trips.

  • Alcohol is allowed and you may bring your own on board. You must be 21 years of age to consume.

  • Yes, we do offer gift certificates.

  • Storage is limited on our charters, so please bring only the necessities. Helpful items include your phone, towel, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, food, beverages, and keys. We will be on the water, so it is possible that your items may get wet. If you are concerned about an item getting wet, we suggest putting it in something that is water tight (like a Ziploc bag). We will supply everything you need to fish. If you have a specific rod that you would like to bring, that is fine as well. We can check the rigging if you’d like to ensure that fish doesn’t get away.

  • You are welcome to bring your own lunch aboard the ship, or, upon request, the captain can stop at one of our local restaurants for a lunch break. Do keep in mind that stopping for lunch will take time from your fishing trip.

  • There are a few bathrooms on the water, but marinas and restaurants are open in the afternoon if you would prefer to stop there.

  • Nope! We will provide rods, reels, and tackle for your trip.

  • Our certified charter captains will do all the work for you. Just enjoy sitting back and reeling em’ in!

  • Charleston offers year-round fishing, but depending on the time of year, will depend on the fish we target. Some months are better than others for select species. Your captain will help you target the fish that are prevalent at the time of year you are fishing.
